No technology is changing our work, our lives and our society as fast right now. In 2027, artificial intelligence moves back to the centre of the festival – practical, concrete and first-hand:
- Where is AI heading?
- How are companies, creatives and startups really using it?
- Where does Europe stand in the global race?
- And what do we, as a society, want to use it for?

Not a conventional congress centre, but an iconic building with edges and corners that carries the future in its name. We take it over completely for four days – from the dome to the courtyard.

1E9 is a startup from Munich: a medium, think tank and community for people exploring technologies and ideas for a better world. All year round we bring them together – at meetups and events, in our magazine, and in direct exchange with innovators and forward thinkers. Once a year, that becomes the Festival der Zukunft. As a member you're part of all of it – and pay 20 % less for the festival.

The Deutsches Museum is one of the largest science and technology museums in the world – and for more than 120 years a place where technology becomes tangible for everyone. Its “Forum der Zukunft” on Munich's Museum Island gives the festival its home: a space that doesn't exhibit the past but puts the future up for discussion.
