Four days at the Deutsches Museum, 14,000 people, one festival: startups and corporates, research institutions and studios, public bodies and a cosmopolitan city. In 2027 we put Munich's ecosystem at the centre of the festival – and we're looking for the partners to carry it.
Whether you're from Munich or betting on the region from outside: here you meet Germany's densest deep-tech ecosystem, strong industry and a lively creative and media scene – plus an audience open to innovation and keen to shape the future.

Why Munich, why now
We break
silos open.
Startup and corporation, art and science, city hall and rocket: in Munich they sit a few subway stops apart – and rarely meet. The 2027 festival becomes the hotspot of Munich's innovation and creative ecosystem: out of the silos, onto one platform. We're looking for the partners to carry it.
And whoever is in gets seen by the people who matter.
Visible far beyond Munich: press, politics and audiences from all over Germany are there. Whoever helps shape the region – from here or from outside – stands right in the middle.
Our stages have hosted Björn Ommer, Katalin Karikó, Vitalik Buterin, Herbert Diess and Maja Göpel, among others – and more than 1,200 others since 2019.

Since 2022, 1E9 and the Deutsches Museum have run the Festival der Zukunft – at the intersection of technology, science, business and art. From Nobel laureates to founders, from CEOs to artists. Two conference days for professionals, two family days for everyone.

Focus 2027
Artificial intelligence –
and where partners plug in
No technology is changing work, life and society as fast right now. In 2027, artificial intelligence moves to the centre of the festival – practical, concrete and first-hand. For partners that means: being visible where decision-makers are working out their most important questions. In the AI Business Track, companies show how they really use AI – a direct line to a professional audience that listens.
AI is the focus, but not the whole stage. The festival covers the full breadth of future topics – from robotics and space to health, energy and mobility, art & science and music. Whoever leads in one of these fields finds their topic, their stage and their audience here.
